Most grassroot organizations in Kenya and majority of countries in the global south are doing amazing work but they aren’t documenting and communicating on their impact. Due this, the organizations risk loss of data, disorganization in their work, poor decision-making processes, insecurity of their and lack of connection with the communities they serve as well as potential partners.
To remedy the situation, Re-Imagining New Communities supports grassroot organizations working in Kenya’s rural and urban settlements to develop proper communication and documentation systems. We train and mentor the organizations on how to come up with highly effective tools that would aid in their sustainability.
We train the organizations on photography, report writing, development of communication and advocacy strategies and community engagement.
This program is part of our desire to continue to reimagine communities that are self- sustaining.
