Re-Imagining New Communities is truly humbled to receive recognition from one of its esteemed partners We One Action Network for its program, Children-Led Community Peace Labs.
This transformative initiative is making a profound impact on teachers, children and parents across five counties. The Children-Led Community Peace Labs focuses on empowering teachers with the right resources to maintain conducive learning environments while fostering strong connections with learners and their parents.
Our approach is simple yet powerful – listen, understand the needs, and bridge the gaps. By actively engaging with educators, parents, and learners, Re-Imagining New Communities has created a dynamic platform that addresses the unique challenges faced in classrooms and communities.
Through this program, teachers are provided with the tools and support they need to create thriving learning spaces. The emphasis on building robust relationships between teachers, learners, and parents has proven to be a game-changer, nurturing an atmosphere of trust and understanding.
The recognition bestowed upon Re-Imagining New Communities underscores the organization’s dedication and impact this year where over 12 primary schools from Nairobi, Kakamega, Vihiga, Trans Nzoia and Uasin Gichu have been supported.
“We are honored to be recognized and trusted for the work that we have been doing this year with all the teachers and children. We believe in the power of education and community engagement to build a better future for all the children in Kenya. This acknowledgment inspires us to continue our efforts” Sahlim Charles.
